Website | EmailThe Palmer Home was built in 1848 and is located right on the waterfront. Today it's a privately-owned bed and breakfast run by third-generation owner, Francess Palmer. The home features four units, which include The Front Room, King Room, Italian Room, and Suite. There is also a separate carriage house with two bedrooms, one bath, enclosed sun porch, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Pets are allowed in the carriage house for a USD50 fee, but not in the main house. Amenities include a wonderful daily Southern breakfast buffet, cookies and muffins throughout the day, wine and cheese in the afternoons, spectacular views of Charleston Harbor, a swimming pool, ample parking, and a location central to many Charleston attractions.
