Website | EmailBang og Jensen is on Istedgade, the former red-light district of Copenhagen. The interior is fun and kitschy, and the ambience is friendly. Popular here are the ancient pinball machines and the table football. Most of the clientele at this café consists of the young and the trendy, especially young women. A speciality here is the breakfast, which is served all through the day until 6p. It is actually more of a brunch. The unique thing about it is that you are given a form, on which you fill in exactly how you want your food served. And there are many delicious things to choose from. At night, the café turns into a cocktail bar, and the bartender Ingeborg knows her job well. She has been practising for seven years at a trendy place in New York.
