In the old quarter by Nyboder you will find the fancy café Kartoteket. With no visible sign outside, you may not realise that this is a cafe. They also have a small selection of intellectual classics in literature, and sometimes they organise poetry events and live acoustic performances. This is where you go if you like people looking at you from the street. The windows go from floor to ceiling, and the interior, designed especially for this café, is very trendy. The food here is delicious, experimental and not cheap. On weekends it is a popular place for brunch.
