This is one of the more economical hotels in the downtown area, popular with with backpackers and divers alike. You can’t beat the location right on Plaza Central. The rooms are large, if somewhat barren, and are furnished with your basic double or queen bed, small bathrooms, TV (no cable) and overhead fans. But spartan furnishing aside, the hotel does have wonderful ambience; the best feature are the balconies that offer a bird’s eye view of the square. Shops, restaurants and the nightlife of San Miguel are all nearby.
