TBG&S, as it is known, was established by arty pioneers when rents were cheap and the area was destined to become a bus station. Thankfully, the gods of urban design had a very different fate in mind, and now the gallery is the flagship of the city's official cultural quarter. Many of the original artists still work in the studios upstairs.
