Ingo Koethschneider has managed to lure customers with a taste for gourmet food from far and wide with his creations, inspired by international cuisine, but most notably Asian. Koethschneider is fond of combining styles in the decor as well as in his menus. Guests sit in a modern ambience under a half timbered ceiling. In case the guest connoisseurs have trouble deciding on their choice for dinner, the menu sports a good mix of dishes. Try the Papagageien (Parrot) fish crisped in a range of herbs or perhaps meat. The Lammruecken in Wasabi served with Thai beans is also a popular choice. If this is your first time in Canonicus and you need help deciding, it is advisible to consult one of the set menus, which also include a fitting wine, coffee and biscuits. On Sunday, breakfast is available between 10a and 4p.
