WebsiteThe challenge is to make it to the end of the 10km course that begins in Holyrood Park. Being something of a Fun Run, this challenge is taken up by all kinds of people from the seasoned athlete to the hopelessly slow (but probably sponsored) beginner. First organized in 2000, the route takes in the Grassmarket, Princes Street and the Canongate, ending on the track of the Meadowbank Stadium. If you make it that far, you deserve a medal, and that's what you receive. (If 10km is just too much, there's also a 1.5km Fun Run!)
