Website | EmailDriving north-west from Edinburgh on the A9 will bring you to this club in Linlithgow. Set in a picturesque area, not far from the sea, it gives great views of the Forth valley and the two bridges on the Firth. It's certainly a challenging round and well worth the short trip from the city. The original nine-hole parkland course founded in 1892 was redesigned and extended to 18-holes in the late 70s: it now has a yardage of 6406 with a par of 71. The facilities include a lounge bar, pro shop, practice ground, putting green and changing rooms. Visitors are welcome, although it is best to phone a day in advance.
