Website | EmailAdjacent to the dining room at Haldane's there's a walled garden and patio, which offers a calming view and a fine place sit out in when it's warm. The food tends to be locally sourced, but the contemporary menu steps outside the boundaries of traditional fare. A two-course set lunch is quite reasonably priced, whilst dinner is exclusively a la carte. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The dining room itself is light and airy - pleasingly uncomplicated - with an open fire. All in all, it's a very pleasant place to dine.
