It was named for the 'independent restaurateur of the year', apart from bagging the 'spirit of Scotland' food award. 'Real food at real prices' is an oft repeated mantra, and rings true even today. In the food segment, Crayfish Noodles and Toasted Marinated Crottin are chosen time and again. But you could try the Pork, Apple and Sage sausages with pickled onions and mash.
