Architect Italo Gamberini envisioned something wonderful when during the 1980s he undertook transforming the remains of a Medieval tower into a charming hotel. His vision succeeded and Brunelleschi is now an almost magical place to stay. Rooms have incredible views across the city and receptions and other functions are held in the hotel's elegant Restaurant Sant'Elisabetta. There is also a private museum on site where finds from archaeological excavations, including ancient Roman baths, are displayed.
