Specialising in simple North African cuisine, Strandcafe Beach Cafe is popular with students and arty-types, but is also a good bet for families because it is so child-friendly. In fact, the atmosphere is so relaxed, you almost feel like you're on the beach! The menu includes Arabian specialties like vine leaves and spicy meat with rice, as well as a selection of breakfasts, which are served all day, and extras like fruit salad. There is a remarkable selection of teas, but one thing you will seek in vain is alcohol, which is not on the menu.
