Website | EmailThis opera house is famous not only for its cultural events but also its picturesque location. It is situated in the middle of the River Rhône. Constructed in the 19th Century, it was originally meant to be a water pumping and hydroelectric station. One can still spot two turbines in the lobby of the establishment. It has a capacity of 985 seats and hosts ballet, theatre and musical performances.
