Genoa caters well for all forms of modern travel including weekend stays and business trips, providing high quality accommodation. Genoa is a city that, in the past, has made its fortune on the Mediterranean, competing with other cities along the coast for supremacy in traffic and commerce. The coast has an array of beaches, from the rocky San Michele di Pagana, to the sandy bay of Paraggi, where visitors come to bathe, see a variety of marine life and a shipwreck.
