Website | EmailAt the end of the nineteenth century, Gaudenzio Ciana, the first hotelier in his family, originally from Orta San Giulio in the province of Novara, where he was the owner of the Hotel Belvedere which he had built himself, moved to Santa Margherita. A century later, his descendants still carry on the prestigious tradition he created. This is a modern building, set on the seafront which leads to Portofino, surrounded by greenery and eighteenth century (or earlier) villas. The garden leads directly onto the private beach, with its own adjacent restaurant and bar. Most of the rooms have sea views. It also functions as a well-equipped modern conference centre, and has ample parking space. It is open all year round, offering an ideal holiday whatever the season.
