Jet skiing, powerboat trips and sailing are some of the exhilarating activities organised for the thrill-seeking outdoors type. Dinghy sailing is another popular ride available for a nominal fee. The 'Tall Ship' is constantly moored at the harbour and is host to a fun-cum-educational programme for children. The city's maritime heritage is celebrated at this time of the year. The main sites of celebration are Glasgow Harbour, Glasgow Science Centre, and the S.E.C.C. (Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre).
