Loch Lomond,
Balloch Country Park rests on the southernmost tip of Loch Lomond. First established in the early 1800s, the park went through many improvements and landscaping projects before being officially recognized as a country park in 1980. Balloch Country Park adjoins Balloch Castle, the 19th century structure that now serves as the park's visitor's center. The park also hosts concerts throughout the year, including the yearly Live at Loch Lomond Music Festival, and headliners such as R.E.M. and Oasis.
