In the oldest member of the Harlequin group, which owns many of the Indian restaurants in Glasgow, the food is predictably good and the interior pleasant and well turned-out. Indian restaurants are often popular with students and thanks to its very reasonable prices and special deals, this one is no different. The healthy menu also goes down particularly well. You can treat the kids to a spicy brunch because children under 12 in the company of a paying adult dine free on Sundays and every other week there'll be a clown around too. If this place is too quiet for your tastes, try the Ashton Lane branch. It's bright, cheery and rowdy while this one is small, cosy and more intimate.
