An intimate little restaurant run by a husband and wife team, Cafe du Sud is perfect for romantic tete-a-tetes. The menu is adventurous French, with knowledgeable staff always ready and willing to offer explanations and advice. The chef's mum sends special supplies of lavender from the south of France to add that special je ne sais quois. Pre-theatre menus offer deals on two or three courses but if you're too late for that, the dinner prices won't cause any panic attacks. Children's portions are available if your kids have sophisticated tastes too.
