Cafe India is huge with seating for nearly 600 on two levels - ground and basement, but it's not the only big restaurant in Glasgow, it's not even close to the biggest. Michael Jackson, Keanu Reeves and Billy Connolly have all eaten here (have a look at the photos on the wall if you're sceptical) so you'll be in good company. The decor on street-level is smart and plush, fitting in with the city's style rather than the food's, which no doubt all the celebs and business people who patronize the restaurant find refreshingly different. The menu here is a la carte and offers an array of European dishes as well as beautifully prepared Eastern classics. The basement is the buffet room and the atmosphere here is younger, trendier and altogether more lively.
