Website | EmailDespite the French name, this bustling candle-lit restaurant serves contemporary Scottish cuisine. The decor is stylish in a new wave sort of way, with an ornate mosaic floor and lots of bright colours. Bouzy Rouge is also found in Airdrie and Edinburgh, and the Brown family who own it have won the same success here. The menu is affordable and original, featuring lots of fresh local produce to get the tastebuds excited. They call the style of cuisine casual gourmet - on one side of the menu you'll find simple steaks and pasta dishes, while the other side is full of more complex dishes such as their famous tri-colour savoury pudding starter. It's particularly popular at weekends and for family Sunday lunches, so book first.
