Website | EmailSince 1984 this classical music festival has been celebrated in the city and is considered to be one of the best festivals in Europe today. Although it was first held in the Perez Galdos theatre, the construction of the magnificant Alfredo Kraus Auditorium saw it move here, with the finest orchestras and soloists in the world coming together to grace the island with their lovely music. Together with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, performers like mezzosoprano Anne Sofie Von Otter, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra enchant listeners with their interpretations of Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninov, and Brahms.
