This is a very attractive restaurant, set high up within the Botanical Gardens, a must visit in Gran Canaria. It is made to resemble a typical country house, with big windows looking out onto the Barranco Guiniguada ravine, and wooden floors. The chefs will prepare delicious food for those who decide to go and try the local dishes served here. One of the specialities is potaje de berros (watercress soup with pork, corn, potatoes, beans and cumin), which is eaten all over the Canary Islands and loved by foreigners. You should also try the vegetable soup, pork chops, bream and garlic chicken. For dessert, ice-cream with bienmesabe (a sweet cream of almonds, egg yolk and cinnamon, which can only be found around here) is recommended.
