This is the only old-style cinema still standing and in operation. The cinema is housed in a historic building which was originally a theatre, and, on entering, you immediately notice the elaborate decoration, old-style stalls, a beautiful, semi-circular gallery above the stalls, etc. Located in an area that is fairly quiet in the evening and in spite of the competition from large, modern multi-screen cinemas, this cinema continues to show new releases. The box office opens half an hour before each performance. There are four showings a day of the same film.
