During the first two weeks in May every year the theatre comes to town when Spain's radical, avant-garde and mainstream theatre companies arrive in Granada to perform their new work. It's an exciting time for actors, directors and audiences. The press are out in force and their reviews can make or break careers. You can see the latest trends in drama at the Teatro Isabel la Católica and the Teatro Alhambra. Pick up a programme at the tourist office at the Corral del Carbón (old Moorish inn).
