The house special, unique to Granada, is tortilla sacromonte, an omelette made with brains, kidneys, bulls' testicles and vegetables. The other dishes worth trying are the delicious paellas and the slices of roast veal with potatoes. If you are an early riser you can get a good breakfast here when other places are still closed. Sit on the spacious terrace on Plaza Nueva and you'll see the walls of the Alcazaba de la Alhambra fortress above you and the busy city at work all around you. The dining room inside is attractively decorated with wrought-iron screens and colourful mosaics.
