Rey Momo
Pretty watering-hole

This bar has deliberately identified itself with Momo, a pagan god of hedonism and wild madness, who is still worshipped during Carnival time in some Latin American countries. The idea is to create a place where anything goes, as an alternative to the run-of-the-mill sort of bar you find everywhere else in town. It's located over two floors of a lovely 16th century palace with an exotic history. The building was home to one of Granada's first discotheques in the 1960s, before being turned into a brothel and then an upmarket restaurant. A magical atmosphere has been created downstairs where the palace's well and water cistern used to be.
