Be sure to bring your binoculars. Guided bird tours throughout the year present the more than 120 species represented at the Rand Nature Center in all their beautiful plumage. More than 100 acres of Bahamian pine forest comprise this nature preserve, one of the Caribbean's best bird-watching locales. If you miss out on the guided bird walk, don't despair. The visitor center can help you navigate the preserve's collection of native flora, birds, reptiles and more. The bird walks are free.
