To sample a true taste of Grand Bahama prepared by Bahamians themselves a trip east out of the duty-free zone is necessary. Outriggers is located on Smith's Point, famous for its Wednesday night "Fish Fry." Though the exterior of Outriggers may seem to be a bit shanty like, but the interior is pristine and comfortable. The regular menu is a great value and includes traditional island cuisine such as cracked conch, lobster tail, and barbecue chicken, all prepared home style. After your meal, stroll over to the connected White Wave Club for a beer and a game of billiards.
