This place enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on Grand Bahama Island. Thankfully, it doesn't take advantage of its unique status. The movies are first-run; usually they are only two weeks behind the US. The Bahamian rating system takes a little getting used to, however. Movies are rated "A", "B" or "C". An "A" movie is appropriate for all ages, a "B" movie requires that children under 18 be accompanied by a parent, and a "C" movie is equivalent to an "R" rating in the United States with no one under 18 allowed.
