This cinema shows arty, alternative films that are worlds away from Hollywood mainstream movies. It is located near Karl-Franzens-University, and the Stadtpark is just across Glacis street. With this neighborhood's plethora of lively cafés, continuing the evening's activities after the performance is a matter of course. The Geidorf cinema, which has a total of three screens, is equipped with comfortably cushioned seats and a Dolby surround-sound system. Tickets are available at reduced prices between Monday and Wednesday.
