It is almost a miracle that this cinema, which exclusively shows films in the original English versions, still exists. More than once rumors about an imminent closure made the rounds, sometimes even with precise dates; fortunately they never became a reality and the Royal with its two- to three-showings per screen per day remains open to date. This is largely due to its faithful crowd of followers who appreciate the cozy cinema despite its no longer modern interior.
