This is a venue offering traditional Austrian Gemuetlichkeit. Slightly worn and wonderfully old, the Theatercafe is the gateway to another world, usually against a background of 20's and 30's music. Furthermore, it is home to the small theatre company Hin & Wieder, which provides cabaret entertainment from Tuesday to Sunday. Many choose to stay after the show. Not surprising really, as the fabulous food is also not to be missed: Grandma's Apfelstrudel and garlic bread are two of the highlights of the menu — both come strongly recommended.
