In one of the city's oldest buildings, La Perla serves it up Northern Italian style with delicious soups, antipasti and pasta followed by beautifully presented main courses of veal, beef, chicken, lamb and seafood. The food is in competition with the view from the restaurant; it's difficult to say which is more exciting, the Halifax skyline by candle light or the trout with bourbon butter sauce.
