The Mission is an original place with real characters. A team of former homeless people organise daily cultural entertainment with live music, drama groups and performances in order to bring homeless people together. "Creative measures against coldness" you might call it. There are frequent independent music events with real "independent" bands in the literal sense of the word. So if you would like to spend an evening with lots of interesting and exciting people, you should pay a visit to the Mission.
