Despite its name, saxophones are not the only instruments played here. Musicians from the state opera and the operetta come here from time to time after performances to enjoy themselves and throw the odd jam session. Latin-American or saxophone music is the usual fare, and Friday is Salsa night, with lots of flirting and misbehaviour. An original visual detail within the interior are the saxophone-shaped beer tabs at this nice establishment. The barley juice first flows through the golden horn before it reaches the thirsty throats of the cheerful guests.
