Bar do Sul has an almost tropical flair about it. During the day you can enjoy exotic cakes accompanied by a strong cup of espresso, while if you come here in the evening, you can enjoy a cocktail or two and challenge the regulars (including many southern Europeans) to a game of darts or pool. Three large pool tables are available; you pay by the hour, so you'll have time to get your revenge if you get beaten! From time to time Bar do Sul organises Caribbean dance courses in the dance hall on the first floor.
