It tends to be very young families that get together at this Ottensen corner pub from the early evening onwards. The Familieneck (family corner) has good music, really friendly staff and nice drinks, so it is easy to enjoy oneself here all night long - if you have gotten hold of a seat in time. Both seats and stand-up spaces are quickly taken at the small pub! It is particularly advisable to come early and have a nice milk coffee at the window, just relax, enjoy and watch what´s happening outside! Small and dimly lit, that´s the first impression you get inside the Familieneck. And it is just right that way. The red chain of lights above the bar and the Arabian lamps create a very pleasant Oriental atmosphere here. The interior is a bit unusual, among other things oil barrels serve as tables. When thoroughly drunk, try to decipher the strange inscriptions on the walls here-they aren´t Arabian, although they might look it.
