The primary mode of transportation on Bermuda prior to 1946 was the horse. In true tradition, its love for 'everything equestrian' continues to this day at the National Equestrian Centre. Throughout the year, this venue plays host to shows, dressage, jumping, western and other types of competitions and exhibitions.
