Ariel Sands epitomizes the traditional Bermudian cottage colony experience. The pastel-colored bungalows are accented by white roofs and each has a private patio. The resort is nestled into 14 acres of hills overlooking the South Shore. The entire operation has been recently refurbished, thanks to a major shareholder, Michael Douglas. There are vibrant color schemes and a bright, contemporary décor that provides a sense of casual luxury. All cottages have ocean views. The recreational facilities include tennis courts, a putting green and a private beach 100 yards from the accommodations.There are one and two bedroom cottages, in addition to ocean view deluxe rooms.
