Website | EmailHerrenhäuser Gärten is transformed into a huge festival in the summer during the Herrenhäusen weeks. Those passionate about Baroque music should attend one of the operas that take place at the Galerie. Past years have seen such masterpieces as Haendel's Salomon and Henry Purcell's King Arthur. Throughout the summer, small festivals called Kleines Fest are also organized in the main garden, welcoming 130 artists from 15 different countries. In August, open air musicals and classical concerts take place on the stage of the garden's theater.
