WebsiteBetween the end of July and the middle of August every year over 1.5 million visitors flock to the banks of Lake Maschsee for a host of festivities. As well as live bands (rock & pop, soul, blues, swing, disco and jazz), there are cabaret acts, theater groups and children's shows on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Beer gardens, cocktail bars and an array of different snack bars provide a selection of refreshments. On Wednesday evenings the lake is lit up by dozens of illuminated boats ranging in size from tiny paddleboats to an enormous ocean liner. See website for yearly particulars.
