WebsiteThe interior of this theater that was once a cinema still holds its 1950s charm. Since 1967 it has been Hanover's biggest venue for guest performances. After several reconstructions it now has 1168 seats, good acoustics and a modern stage. Dramas and comedies, very often with well-known actors from TV, are mostly staged here. Musicals, children's theater, cabaret, acapella groups, big band concerts and ballet all find a spot on this stage. Every other Friday night at 11p the upper foyer turns into a night-cafe, where singers and comedians perform in close contact with the audience.
