This park is located in Higashi-Hiroshima City, to the east of Hiroshima. It is a pleasant enough place to visit at any time of the year, though its main attraction comes to life in April and May. This is its six-meter wide, 335-meter long wisteria trellis. Visitors will even come from outside the prefecture to let the fragrance and its beauty carry them away. There is also a seven-kilometer stretch of waterside cherry trees, which are equally impressive when in bloom, typically late in March or early April.
