WebsiteThe Antarctic Division co-ordinates the supplies for every expedition and every experiment that is conducted on an Australian Antarctic research expedition. The Antarctic is the coldest, driest, highest and windiest place on earth and is a formidable place to live and work. Visitors can see exhibits exploring the history and contemporary use of the Antarctic as a research base and examine some terrific photographs and interesting models in the museum and library. A 40-minute film can be shown to groups who book in advance. Admission: Free.
