Website | EmailHobart has joined the Tropfest phenomenon. From small beginnings in a café in Sydney, films in this prestigious festival are now screened simultaneously around the country. There is also a web site for international viewers. This has become the world's largest festival of short films. Machine Cafe is host and Salamanca Square is packed with film goers so arrive early. You will need your own chair, but there is great food and wine to be had as well as a very convivial atmosphere. Admission is free. See their website for details.
