WebsiteThe Huon Valley, to the south of Hobart, is famous for apple production. Recent years, however, have seen an abundance of other delights emerging from this lush, beautiful area. The festival is a celebration of the food and wine from the region. Taste buds are tempted with Atlantic salmon fresh from the fish farms, mushrooms of all varieties, olives, wonderful pickles, preserves and jams and fresh herbs, to name but a few treats. The venue changes from year to year, and the local community plays host. Admission: Adults AUD7.50, Children (under 16) Free.
