WebsiteFrom small beginnings in 1945, the annual Race has grown to become one of the world's great ocean races. The traditional Boxing Day start in Sydney Harbour has most of Australia watching on television, and a few days later the leading yachts make their way up the Derwent. Constitution Dock fills with magnificent racing yachts from all over the world. Celebrations continue across the New Year period and the waterfront is abuzz. There are vantage points all around the river, but the real excitement is at the Dock.
