Alpenrail is the Swiss countryside in miniature, complete with Alps, villages, forests, lakes and rivers, all interconnected by a superb model railway. It was created by a family more than 20 years ago and now covers an area greater than 10 tennis courts. New features are always being added. Watch the sunrise and sunset accompanied by delightful lighting effects and the eerily beautiful sound of the alpenhorn. For the young at heart, and the genuinely young, you can take the controls of "Thomas the Tank", "James the Red Engine" and the "Smurf Train". Check website for more information.
