This pleasant drive takes an hour each way from Geeveston, but may take longer depending on the number of stops. Starting at the Forest and Heritage Centre you can experience natural sights along the way with a pleasant streamside walk at Keogh's Creek, a picnic area alongside the Arve River and a cool walk amongst Huon pines at the Tahune Forest Reserve. There is also a fine view from the Big Tree Lookout. Maps are available at the Forest and Heritage Centre in Geeveston or from Tourist Information or Forestry Tasmania in Hobart.
